What does the floor space look like upstairs when the lift is in a stationary position downstairs?

When you are not on the same floor as the lift, the intelligent design of the Lifton Home Elevator allows the floor space where the lift would normally be – to be utilized. There is no dead space in your home with a Lifton elevator. The existing flooring covering is fitted to a strong floor plug so when the lift is downstairs, an uninterrupted view across the flooring upstairs remains leaving any interior design choices unaffected.

What happens if the power fails and I am travelling in the Lifton Home Elevator?

To allow for power outages to the home all Lifton Home Elevators are equipped with a battery back-up facility. This is included as standard with the lift and will allow anyone in the lift at the time of power failure to gently descend to the lower level of the home, allowing you to exit the lift, and wait until power is restored.

Is the Lifton Home Elevator noisy?

The entire weight of the Lifton Home Elevator is carried on two very strong steel cables. In the unlikely event that these cables were to break or lose tension, the patented fall arrest mechanism inside the lift will activate and not allow the lift to move. This ensures the absolute safety of all occupants at all times.

Does the Lifton Home Elevator have lights inside so I can see where I’m going when it is dark?
